Green Power Enrollment Form

1. The customer shall enter into a service agreement with Richmond Power and Light stating that they want to be billed under the Green Power Rider.
2. Service under this Program may be limited at the sole discretion of the utility, based on the expected amount of renewable energy available, average monthly energy usage of the customer, bill payment and collection histories.
3. The customer may sign up for the program at any time and service will become effective at the beginning of the next full billing period, at which point the customer will be charged for the total amount of Green Power purchased.
4. The customer may cancel their service under this Program at any time after one year; however, any change in service will only become effective at the beginning of the next full billing period. The charge for Green Power will not be prorated in the billing period in which the customer cancels the agreement.
5. The utility reserves the right to terminate the Rider, revise the rate per kWh per month, or make other changes to the Rider upon obtaining the necessary governmental approvals. The current rate is $0.006 per kWh in addition to the energy charge on the customer’s currently billed tariff.

Green Power Participation

I agree to participate in the Green Power Rider program and understand service will become effective at the beginning of the next full billing period, and that this charge will be in addition to my regular electric service charges and will appear on my monthly bill.

Commitment Agreement

I agree to participate in the Green Power Rider program for a minimum period of one (1) year. I understand that cancellation before the completion of this period is not permitted. My participation will automatically renew annually unless I notify Richmond Power and Light in writing of my intent to cancel.
