Procedures for Residents in obtaining Street Lights:
- If you want to add a street light in your neighborhood,
or want to have one removed, the residents in your neighborhood
(over 50%) will have to petition for the change.
- The petition has to be presented to your City Councilperson,
who will pass the petition on to the Street Light Committee
for review.
- The Committee will then ask RP&L to provide them with
a design and an estimated cost for the change.
- The Street Light Committee will review this information,
and if approved, it is passed on to the Board of Public
Works and Safety for final review and approval.
