Starr Kids Program

We have adopted the sixth grade class at the Elizabeth Starr Academy for the past 25 years. We get involved in their curriculum to give them an extra "boost" in the direction of their futures. It only takes one event in the life of a child that may have an influence of a lifetime. Our hope is that we can make that difference!

Classes visit for a tour and presentations. We stress how important their education is to their success as adults. We introduced the class to other employees who then split up into groups to show them different parts of our business.

We feel that it benefits the children of the community to have the opportunity to experience a professional work environment. In this way, we feel we are investing in our future too, since our children are our future.
