This
recipe was created with the help from Ty's staff at Wernle Children's
Home, "the Grandma's."
2 C of your favorite store boughten BBQ Sauce
1 med. onion, minced
1 tsp minced garlic
1 tsp. ground ginger or to taste (this is Ty's secret!)
1/2 tsp hot sauce
1 C honey (Ty uses more...the honey helps make
the sauce stick to the meat.)
2 TBS real butter (real butter only, please!!! Don't use
the fake stuff,
it's bad for you, trust me!)
In a saucepan, melt the butter and soften the onion. Add the rest of the
goods to that and let it set on the back burner for about 45 minutes on
low heat. Then put it on your favorite foods.
You can double this and keep a bunch in the refrigerator for sandwiches
or baked beans...it also makes the world's best baked beans!
Another
idea you can try is adding minced apples....to make a real twist, add
marmalade to it....oooooh my, everyone will talk then.......
